Juvelook
쥬베룩
Next-generation Korean skin booster combining PDLLA and hyaluronic acid — stimulates natural collagen while instantly hydrating skin.
What is Juvelook?
Juvelook is a hybrid skin booster developed by VAIM Global Inc. (Seoul, South Korea) that combines Poly-D,L-Lactic Acid (PDLLA) with non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid (HA) in a single patented formulation. Unlike traditional HA fillers that only add temporary volume, Juvelook functions as a collagen biostimulator — the PDLLA particles (50–60μm diameter) are gradually metabolized by fibroblasts over weeks to months, triggering long-term neocollagenesis and elastin production.
Each 1cc vial contains approximately 170mg of PDLLA and 30mg of 3000 kDa non-crosslinked HA. The HA component provides immediate hydration and plumping at the time of injection, while the PDLLA delivers progressive collagen stimulation that becomes visible around 4–8 weeks post-treatment. Juvelook is KFDA and CE-mark approved. A related product, Juvelook Volume (marketed internationally as "Lenisna"), uses a higher PDLLA concentration for volumetric enhancement rather than skin quality improvement.
What Juvelook Treats
- Fine lines on cheeks, forehead, and around eyes
- Enlarged pores (pore tightening)
- Atrophic acne scars (ice-pick and rolling)
- Crepey, thin, or photoaged skin
- Early skin laxity (maintenance)
- Tear trough / under-eye hollowing (physician-dependent)
- Neck lines (ring of Venus)
- Décolleté rejuvenation
Juvelook vs Other Skin Boosters
Juvelook differs from pure HA skin boosters (such as Skinbooster / Restylane Vital, Profhilo) which only hydrate and provide modest biostimulation. It also differs from pure PDLLA products (such as Sculptra) which must be reconstituted and typically have more downtime. The hybrid formula gives Juvelook both the immediate hydration of HA boosters and the longer collagen-stimulating effect of PDLLA.
Juvelook is often compared to Rejuran (salmon DNA polynucleotide) — both are Korean skin boosters. Rejuran works by delivering PN fragments that trigger wound-healing repair and anti-inflammation, while Juvelook stimulates collagen via PDLLA biodegradation. Some Korean clinics layer both treatments on alternating visits for maximal regeneration.
